Copyright, Usage and Licensing

All paintings, photographs, banners, borders and poems  © Shona M. MacDonald 2001-2013, with the exception of the banners used for external links which are copyrighted to their respective owners.
The images may not be republished, reproduced or modified in any form without written permission from me. They are scanned at a low resolution, cropped and watermarked and are not suitable for printing.
Please do NOT use any of my artwork as logos, for avatars, tubing, tags or stationery or to sell your products. I have been asked on several occasions if my art can be used on non-profit sites that offer PSPtubes, scrap-booking and such like and I'm sorry to say but the answer will always be NO. Once work is made available on these sites I feel that it makes it much easier for copyright to become forgotten about.
If you want to use any of my artwork for ANY kind of commercial purpose please contact me. I have a number of licensing agreements with companies already and would be happy to discuss terms with you.
If you want to use an unaltered image from this site as a personal wallpaper on you computer or as decoration on a personal, non-commercial website, that's okay but please keep the copyright notice and watermarks in tact on any images used and add a link back to my website. And please, please, let me know you're using it so I can take a look.
If you want to use an image for a tattoo and need a higher resolution image that isn't available as a print, please contact me and I will try to help. I would be chuffed to little bits if someone liked my art enough to have it etched into their skin but if you do, please ask the tattoo artist to return all copies of the design to you when it's completed to ensure it isn't reused. And I'd be delighted to show off your tatt on my blog if you want to mail me a photo!
And please, if you see any of my work being used in a way that doesn't comply with any of the above please let me know.
Thank you for taking the time to read this page.
